My name is Heidi Rodli, and I am the owner of Piece & Joy Quilting Co. I started sewing as a young girl and enjoyed making garments throughout high school. After piecing my first quilt at age 16 I was hooked! I enjoyed piecing for about 15 years before I purchased my APQS stitch regulated Freedom machine in 2007 and have been professionally machine quilting ever since!
I am a free-motion quilter which means that your quilt will be wonderfully unique and one of a kind! I can also follow patterns, called pantographs, which will lend a more symmetrical look to your quilt top. Please check out the "Services" page for more information on design options.
My studio is a smoke and pet free environment where your quilt will be lovingly and carefully quilted. Attention to detail is important and my customers are given the option of being highly involved in choosing quilting designs, thread, etc. or leaving the designing up to me.
If you have never had a quilt machine quilted please don't be intimidated to explore the option of doing so. I can walk you through the process and explain it all as we go. Machine quilting can add a whole new dimension to your quilts!
